The following knowledge base article walks through the steps required for deploying and configuring the Liquidware CommandCTRL application using the Extension Module.
With the introduction of NoTouch OS 3.7.214 & NoTouch Center 4.5.719 Stratodesk now supports CommandCTRL from Liquidware. The CommandCTRL agent is not included in NoTouch OS as standard so should be deployed using the Extension Module feature built in NoTouch Center.
Getting Started
Firstly you will need the zip file that contains the required agents, and will be available in the supported versions of the CommandCTRL portal. This zip file should be uploaded to NoTouch Center by navigating to 'Resources/Misc Files'
Once the file has been uploaded, navigate to the 'Extension' parameters of the 'Group Settings' and scroll to the CommandCTRL parameters and then choose the download from the dropdown menu. Once the file is selected it will automatically populate the URL field.
Important: If your NoTouch Center appliance does not have a valid SSL certificate. Navigate to the 'Security' parameters of the 'Group Settings' and turn off the 'Check Certificate on System Downloads'
If your NoTouch Center appliance has a valid SSL certificate then this step is not required.
Configuring the CommandCTRL Service
Next Navigate to the 'Service' parameters of the 'Group Settings' and search for the CommandCTRL parameters. Here you will be required to start the service and provide both your unique 'Tenant ID' & 'API Key' as show below.
Next announce the change and reboot the endpoints which will trigger the installation of the agent on the NoToTouch OS endpoint. You can then verify if the installation was successful by logging into the local configuration/web access of the device by typing the IP address of the device into a browser and then enter the administrator password.
Then goto 'Debug Information/Cache' to check the status of the installation.
The device should also be visible in the CommandCTRL console.
Please refer to the official Liquidware documentation for further information on the CommandCTRL features.
